This year I’m combining work and personal into one planner with my love of bullet journaling! BUJO is a fabulous way to start if you find yourself frustrated with needing more room to jot thoughts, document phone calls and brainstorm. Head over here to see my bullet journal setup for 2018! And to kick off 2018 with a motivational bang, I’ve created some freebie glamorous desktop and phone wallpapers!
Hello friends! As most of you know, organization is my life (and for those of you who don’t know) I label pretty much anything I can get my hands on including the inside of my fridge! Run your house like a business or it runs you, right ladies? For organizing around the home, I recently added some cleaning checklists here and a cleaning schedule printable here. Plus I have some organizational tips in my Art+Home perfect for those of you planning a home makeover or renovation. Moving on now to what planners I’ve chosen to use for 2017!
For work and personal planning, last year I predominantly used the full size Mambi Happy Planner. That was great for demos and work stuff where I wanted to play creatively but not so much for my personal scheduling. This year I wanted to switch it up and be more travel-friendly so I’m using the mini Happy Planner for work and (squee!) the pink Kate Spade Agenda Diary! Ironically its weekly pages are the same size as the mini HP so stickers fit both nicely. I of course made some modifications to it here and there to function better for me but I’m enjoying it immensely! When it comes to picking a planner style the choices can be overwhelming so I created this snapshot for a blog post you might find helpful.
To keep all my big project details in check, I keep a ring binder with inserts and tabs for a calendar, active, completed, etc. I had been using a standard A5 size 3 ring binder but this year I wanted to house more bits and bobs so I went with the Michaels Recollections Zipper Planner because the zipper pocket and amazing inserts had me sold! Ultimately I chose this design but there are several gorgeous ones to choose from. Since I have a TON of project tracking I purchased the newly released Franklin Covey Pink Confetti planner cover which is absolutely to die for! I put all the Michaels Zipper inserts in the Franklin Covey along with some custom dashboard tabs and stickers plus my Glam Haute Planner series planner inserts and coordinating sticky note pads in my shop! I use the Michaels zipper pouch as my travel case for extra gel pens, highlighters, pencils, etc. I punched a few photo sleeves for it as well to hold my planner flags and extra stickers. I will have lots of pics and a video tour soon!!
If you’re new here I have a full sticker line which includes full box stickers, decorative stickers, washi and weekly/monthly kits. You can see a list for my sticker packs over in my shop to keep tabs on what’s available and what is coming next! I’ve also received numerous requests to film process videos using my stickers along with sticker DIY projects so you’ll find those here. It’s taking a while to get fully up and running on that front but I promise more videos and better quality in the future! Enjoy and thank you for your wonderful feedback and support for my art!

♥ How do you make your stickers? I use the Silhouette Portrait cutting machine, a Xerox Phaser laser printer and create all my graphics in CorelDRAW.
♥ I’m a planner newbie. Where do I start? I recommend starting simple with an inexpensive planner to find out your style. Planners come in Horizontal and Vertical layouts so you may not know which you prefer until you start using it. Pick up any cheap planner at Walmart along with an erasable pen. Being able to erase will encourage you to write without fear of commitment or “messing anything up”! If you want to dip into color, pick up a pack of header/checklist stickers like this one to get your creativity flowing.
♥ I want to make my own inserts or use a printable planner? What punch do I use? I created this overview of what I found to be the best tools and you can read more of my take on these and how I make inserts here.
